I'm Black, You're White, Who's Innocent? by Shelby Steele

I didnt quite understand this text mostly because there to many big words that i didnt know but. As far as what i got out of this text was that blacks can gain power over the white by thier innocent and not be their actions. Another think that i like was what he said about Bill Cosby. I deffently agree with him when he said that Bill Cosby doesnt do anything to make white not watch he show. he welcomes them more than taking away from viewing the show.

    I've never watched Bill Cosby's show so I will have to take your word on it. :)
    The story was hard to follow mostly for me because I found it boring. Nice job at summing it up with your one sentence. I liked your version better.

    I think the idea of the Cosby Show was to empower the blacks rather than turn away the whites. Many times Bill Cosby suggested that the black culture suppressed themselves by believing they weren't capable of being in the role he played, but he is a very successful black man. Good post! I also had a hard time reading it.
